BRIEF HISTORY

St. Ann’s School is a Dr. Maria Montessori School. It is also a Christian school to the core. The School started in September 1982, in Shell RA (SHELL CAMP). It was then known as ESTATE CARAVAN NURSERY SCHOOL with an initial population of One Hundred and Twenty FIve. On the 9th of January 1984,

We moved to # 6 Nembe Road, Rumuibekwe Housing Estate when the caravan became too tight. the School was initially intended to be only a Nursery school but due to the pressure from parents, Year One was added in Jannuary 1985, We added an additional class every year until we got to Year Five. The School has since then witnessed tremendous growth through the years.
